Rock the cradle, rule the world

Mother’s have an unparalleled power to change the world.

The Bible validates the proverb that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. The Apostle Paul affirmed Pastor Timothy for the rich quality of faith that he learned from his mom and grandmother.

“I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.” 2 Timothy 1:5

President Abraham Lincoln esteemed moms when he wrote that “No man is poor who has had a godly mother.”

While church is important to help train our children in their faith, a mother can have a far better impact on their children’s faith. John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church, put it this way, “I learned more about Christianity from my mother than all the theologians of England.”

An ounce of mother is worth a pound of clergy.

May you have a happy Mother’s Day!
